4th of July Punch Art Tutorial
I've had a love affair with punches for as long as I can remember. They aren't the cheapest item, but I buy every punch with a coupon, so it's not too pricey, and they are totally worth it! They make crafting quicker and allow me to use scraps I just couldn't part with. Anyone else a paper hoarder (wink wink)??
Supplies:
Frames of your choice (got mine from the dollar store)
Star Punch (from Michaels with a coupon)
Cardstock/Patterned Paper (from my stash)
Adhesive (ZIG two way glue)
Optional: Trimmer and Brown Ink Pad

There was flower art in the frames that I purchased, so I took those out and measured the inside of the window frame. I punched out the shapes and arranged them until I liked how they looked. Using more shapes will define the letters better. Next I adhered them to white cardstock.
The Process
Inking the edges of the white paper is optional. I like a bit of the distressed look.
So... with the help of a simple star punch, I made the beauty below.

Easy peasy! For more examples of punch art I've done, click here.
Happy Creating!! The possibilities are truly endless! If you make something using this punch art tutorial, please feel free to send it to us at jandmseyecandy@hotmail.com.
We would love to see it and feature you!
