4th of July Punch Art Tutorial
I've had a love affair with punches for as long as I can remember. They aren't the cheapest item, but I buy every punch with a coupon, so it's not too pricey, and they are totally worth it! They make crafting quicker and allow me to use scraps I just couldn't part with. Anyone else a paper hoarder (wink wink)??
Supplies:
Frames of your choice (got mine from the dollar store)
Star Punch (from Michaels with a coupon)
Cardstock/Patterned Paper (from my stash)
Adhesive (ZIG two way glue)
Optional: Trimmer and Brown Ink Pad
There was flower art in the frames that I purchased, so I took those out and measured the inside of the window frame. I punched out the shapes and arranged them until I liked how they looked. Using more shapes will define the letters better. Next I adhered them to white cardstock.
So... with the help of a simple star punch, I made the beauty below.

| Inking the edges of the white paper is optional. I like a bit of the distressed look. |
