I am a first time Momma to a 10 month old baby girl aka Miss M. No way am I an "expert" at any of this Momma business, but I wanted to post some things I've learned along the way to maybe help or enlighten other Momma's out there that could be, and are experiencing the same stuff I am. And since I'm all about the sharing is caring motto, how about a linky party! Every Tuesday, grab our Help a Momma Out button,

post it somewhere on your post or blog, link up a blog post (can be old or new) that you think will help other Momma's Out and party with us! It can be a tip, advice, a funny story, anything really goes. Even if you aren't a Momma feel free to join the party. Before I was a Momma I had loads of fun with my nieces and nephews. Please take a minute to comment on each others posts! Feedback is what this is all about, and everyone loves comments!! Fun right?! So let's get this party started!

Dishes. I actually don't mind doing them, but in all honesty sometimes I leave the cups for the hubs (ridiculous I know). When Miss M is clawing at my pants/legs it makes the chore a bit more less fun to do. My solution, her own drawer in the kitchen. She is into opening and closing the drawers and cabinets, so all the lower shelves she can reach I have to take in mind what is in them. I've "baby proofed" most of them now just in case. The GENIUS idea is I also gave her, her very own drawer. Yes, those are her toys in there. She's content in playing right there at my feet, while I do what I need to do in the kitchen. Whether it's dishes, cooking, and/or taking pics of my latest projects. It's a win win!

And if you don't have enough storage to give your sprouts a whole drawer to themselves, stick your Tupperware in there and let them go crazy. Other ideas you can store that are kid friendly are the plastic measuring cups and spoons. I've heard of letting your kids play with pots and pans, but Tupperware makes a lot less noise when being played like a drum (wink wink).
| Happy busy Baby = Happy productive Mommy! |
| And when you're done, close up the drawer and the "mess" is gone. Bonus points! |
Looking forward to you helping me, help you!
