Happy Monday everyone!! I've been working on this little project for awhile now. I've seen so many different ideas in blog-land, and thought I was sold on using chicken wire, but when I tried it out I didn't like the look of the big holes. So I ended up using "jute" fabric. I found a remnant piece at Joanns for really cheap, even better (remnants are 50% off!)!

I have had a few frames sitting around for awhile, because the glass broke during our move. Perfect use of these! So first step is remove your glass :) Next I cut the piece of fabric to size, and stapled it to the back of one of the frames. Perfect earring holder (sorry no picture). Then I realized one of my frames had cutouts that would be perfect to hold my bulkier items.
Love how it turned out, and love how I can even hang my watch bands and necklaces from it. Eventually I want to add knobs and rolled flowers to spruce it up a bit, but I love the results so far.

Love what you did with this frame and the jute! I have several old ones laying around and my daughter needs a jewelry organizer like this (She's a college student and her apartment doesn't have much space so this would be perfect!)
