Baby Leggies aka Leg Warmers are the shiz!!
Now that Maggie is mobile we are SO in love with these! Not to mention they are oh-so-adorable! Lately I've had a lot of people ask where I buy Maggie's Leg Warmers. Her "real" ones I've picked up all over, def on sale. It's so hard for me to buy them retail, because they can be pricey. And I'm thinking, man, they're just socks, ha! I've picked hers up from Old Navy, Children's Place and Kohls. Sales people sales! My bf got some for her on Etsy, which were awesome too!
But lately... here's the Top Secret info... are you ready? I buy girl knee socks and just cut the feet off. Ha! No really... I do. I have come across so many cute knee socks that are SO much cheaper than buying leg warmers for babies and it gets the job done! The ones below and the ones here in this post, I just cut "made" were $.99!! Oh yes Magpie, your Momma likes to thrift. I Goggled "leg warmer tutorial" and found this!! I am not a seamstress (I wish I was!), but now that I found this tutorial I think I will clean Maggie's up. I am hoping I can even just hand sew them! Yay for easy cheap fun ideas!!
Wah-lah! That's it!
As you can see I just leave them "as is" on the bottom, for now (wink).

And they stay up! Even with my active monkey girl! Yes, she is standing now people! Craziness! Pictures taken today 4.2.2011
