Hello friends!! I am so happy to be apart of J&M's Eye Candy Scare Team! I'm Angela from Love Sweet Love and I LOVE everything about holidays, especially the yummy treats! Halloween is the perfect time of year for us to enjoy giving our sweet tooth a reason to smile :)! And that's just what I've got for you today...Candy Witch Hats! (with a surprise inside!!)

These would be fun to make for a Halloween luncheon treat, kids party {heck even an adult party!}, or to pass out for fun neighbor Halloween treats! I have to give complete credit for this idea to my cute momma who made them last year, and I couldn't wait to try my hand at them for my neighbors this year. Want to make some too? Here's how to make 12 of your own...
Ingredients:
-1 package milk chocolate chips (you use the whole package)
-1 package of 12 sugar cones
-Wax/parchment paper
-sprinkles/nuts/mini choc chops, etc. for decorating
-12 flat, round cookies
-candy or other fun treat to put inside the *hat*
1. melt the choc chips (I melt half of the bag at a time)

2. Dip the open side of your cone into the melted choc.

3. Choose your topping and sprinkle around the choc while still wet (I used colored sprinkles and crushed pecans)

4. Set on wax paper to harden

For the bottom of the hat I used Macaroons, but sugar cookies would work great as well.

5. Dip your cookie into the melted choc and cover both sides.

6. Before the choc. on the cookie hardens, fill your cone with a goodie surprise! Quickly flip it over onto your cookie so they harden together as one cute little witch hat!

I used Reeses Pieces to put inside, but you could also do those little spider rings or other fun Halloween knick-knacks!

And that's it!

When the recipient breaks open their hat, there's a fun little treat waiting inside! How 'bout that for a TRICK aaaaand a TREAT! Who knew you could have both?!

Add a fun little tag to the cone 'Witching you a Happy Halloween' to complete the look if you have some time to spare...which you will because it only takes about 30 min to whip these up!!

Thanks K&B for having me, I've had a Witchtastic time!! Too much? K...Happy Halloween. :) Come visit me in my neck of the woods any time!
