This last weekend was AMAZING! Our first {girls only} trip with M and I. Read the beginning of our trip here. Some more awesome-ness from our weekend is shown below:

What We Wore Wednesday - 9.28.11

I am really enjoying dressing for fall.  I am also really enjoying my new blondness.  Yup, made the switch!  I did it while hubbie was away for a week.  I love surprises ;)

Fail on taking pics of my outfits again this week! Bleh! Let's just say I rocked my velour pants, tank tops, and a ponytail a little too much again. So, I went to get a hair cut (I don't even remember the last time I cut it)! FOUR INCHES! And heck, the lady said, "why not add some color?" I thought, "heck, why not?" I love me some red for Fall :) Crazy what a new do can do for confidence!! I highly recommend it :)

This past weekend, I got to be a part of one of my best friend's wedding, and got all dressed up!! Felt so good and it was SO.MUCH.FUN! Here's the two of us from her Big Day on Saturday! Love you Cori!

Apple Faces and THE SCARE TEAM INTRODUCED

We are buzzing with excitement around here for the upcoming Fall season!  In store for you all we have something BIG, SCARY and totally FUN coming in October!  We have lined up some of our favorites and bests in the blogging world to help us scare inspire you for this spooky, but totally fun, holiday season.  We are calling them our Scare Team, and you will get to know them all very well soon!  You are all officially invited to come along for the ride if you dare!

To get everybody in the right mood for our event, here is an after school snack idea with a scary twist!

You will need:

Apples
Slivered almonds
Cute kids to share them with (optional)

Cut and core the apple in fours.

Cut a smaller piece of apple from the out side of the apple, the part with the skin.  This is really so much more easier than I am describing it.....how about if you just look at the pictures ;)

Add the almonds to the cut out part, and put in cute kiddos mouths.
